I am a registered social worker with 10 years experience, specialising in the play therapy field. I started my studies at Stellenbosch University with a Social Work degree after which I started working in the social welfare field in 2015. During this time I worked as a statutory social worker, and rendered social work services to families and children in need. As my passion was to work with children therapeutically, I started to work as a social worker at Huis Andrew Murray Child and Youth Care Centre in Wellington, rendering social work services to children in need and working therapeutically with traumatised children. During this time I furthered my studies and enrolled for a Masters in Play-based Intervention (also known as Play Therapy) degree at the University of Pretoria. After completing my Masters degree, I decided to specialise in play-based therapeutic services to children and worked at schools in Stellenbosch and then moved to Kenridge Primary and Pre-Primary Schools. My private practice is based in the Oude Westhof, Northern Suburbs.
